Recycle of Marine Debris

Marine debris refers to various types of waste remaining in the marine environment, covering non-biodegradable materials such as plastics, metals, glass, textiles, and wood. According to statistics from relevant authorities, approximately 80% of global marine debris originates from land-based sources, primarily due to improper waste management and illegal pollutant discharge through urban drainage systems. The remaining 20% stems from maritime activities, including shipping and fishing operations, such as abandoned fishing nets and ship-generated domestic waste. The hazards of marine debris are extensive, causing direct impacts on marine life and ecosystems, while also being closely linked to human health and safety, economic development, and social stability. Its negative consequences far exceed imagination.
We are inputting necessary resources to be a part of the global teams in collection and cleanup of beach litter and sea-surface floating debris, in recycle of marine debris, in use video monitors along with AI agents to trace waste sources, and in incorporate marine litter control into ecological protection performance assessment frameworks, in promotion of waste resource utilization including scaling up innovative models like the "Blue Cycle" initiative, which uses public-private partnerships to recycle and repurpose marine plastic waste into value-added products, improving the sustainability of cleanup efforts, as well as in mobilization of public participation etc.
We save life under emergency on the sea; we help to maintain the aquatic environment by engaging ourselves in cleaning projects by the coast and in supplying materials and equipments to research organizations; we take part in diving explorations engaged with not only professional personnel but also submersibles or underwater kits as well as communication equipment.
